TUPAC SHAKUR: HOLOGRAMS BEING DUPLICATED
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- He was often imitated by others in life. And now that Tupac Shakur (TOO'-pahk shah-KOOR') appeared as a hologram in a show earlier this year, some deceased artists -- or those looking to make money off them -- will imitate him in death, too. Reps for several late iconic entertainers have talked about resurrecting those artists by having them appear in holograms. Elvis Presley's estate says it has authorized holograms. Marilyn Monroe's estate has expressed interest. And others are no doubt considering it. Still to be sorted out are legal issues over whether how such likenesses can be used.
