Lavigne, Kroeger making more than music
AVRIL LAVIGNE TO MARRY NICKELBACK FRONTMAN
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Avril Lavigne (lah-VEEN') and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger aren't just making music together. They're getting hitched. A spokeswoman for Lavigne confirms a report from People magazine they became engaged earlier this month. Lavigne and Kroeger have been dating for six months. They met in February when they co-write a song for Lavigne's upcoming album. It's the first marriage for Kroeger and the second for Lavigne. She's had been married to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley.
