ERIC CHURCH FANS TOSS CHAIRS AFTER CONCERT CANCELLED

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- It seems that fans of Eric Church were more than just disappointed when his concert last Friday night in Buffalo, New York was canceled due to bad weather. They smashed chairs and threw bottles and cans. The Buffalo News reports organizers of the show decided to halt the multi-act show at around 11 p.m. after strong winds threatened the stage. Some fans, who had been waiting in heavy rain, began hurling chairs onto the stage, or dumping them into large piles. Witnesses described the scene as frightening. Church issued a statement saying he was "bummed" about the cancellation, but plans to return to Buffalo for another show. by Caitlin R.
