NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Rascal Flatts has sold millions of albums but that kind of success doesn't guarantee happiness. The band says they struggled when individual priorities began to shift and communication broke down between bandmembers. At one point they considered dissolving the group. But as Joe Don Rooney says they "woke up" and were wise enough to say to each other "it's time to do this differently." Jay DeMarcus says working on their latest album "Changed" gave them "a chance to further cement the recommitment" they'd made to each other. He says this has been the best year they've had in the last six years.
