What began as a family reunion to celebrate the Chinese New Year has expanded over the past 26 years. San Antonio's Asian festival now showcases the unique customs of many other countries in the far east, including Japan, Thailand, Korea and the Philippines. This year's guests enjoyed music, dance, traditional Asian food and multicultural demonstrations at the Institute of Texas Cultures on Feb. 16, 2013.
