The Winter Storm Watches are already posted for much of Kentuckiana, especially areas along and north of the Ohio River through Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning... from the NWS...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH
TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

MAIN IMPACT: SNOW WILL COVER ROADWAYS MONDAY NIGHT WITH
             TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW THE FREEZING MARK.
             SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE TO 4 INCHES OR MORE.

OTHER IMPACTS: SNOW WILL LIKELY PRODUCE SLICK AND HAZARDOUS ROAD
               CONDITIONS PRECEDING THE MORNING COMMUTE TUESDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT
SNOW...SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
