So, a wild weather pattern is shaping up this week!  The first map below shows the total amount of rainfall from now through Wednesday, which adds up to 1-3".  Most of the rain will come with a cold front overnight Tuesday through early Wednesday morning.  It is a strong cold front and a few strong to severe storms will be possible early Wednesday.  You can see the contrast in temperatures around the region on the second map.  We'll start out in the 50s, and end up in the 30s or 40s by Wednesday afternoon.  The last map shows the messy weather around 7am Wednesday.  Strong-severe storms possible, with damaging winds the main threat.  Highs will drop down to the 20s by Friday!!  The strong storm will happen while many of us are sleeping, so be alert, and remember to turn on the tv if you hear thunder - in case any watches or warnings have been issued.  Stay tuned and keep up-to-date with the ever-changing weather conditions on WHAS11 - TV, www.whas11.com, and on our mobile apps (just search WHAS11 Weather).  -Ben Pine
