We are seeing more and more signs of spring - pollen in the air, a few first flowers, and warmer temperatures.
It's a spring-like start this week with 60s today, then low 70s possible tomorrow. Enjoy for now because we take a step back to winter-like weather on Wednesday. Of course, this time of year is known for roller coaster weather. You'll see it happen on the maps below.
MAP 1: So, we'll start with the good news - sunshine and upper 60s and low 70s tomorrow!
MAP 2: The cold front arrives with rain overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning. There is a little instability with this system, so some rumbles of thunder possible - but severe weather is not expected.
MAP 3: Cold air races in behind the front late Wednesday morning into the afternoon. If there is some leftover moisture at this time, some snow showers will be possible. If there is any accumulation, it would be light and brief on elevated surfaces (grass, deck). Roads will just be wet Wednesday.
MAPS 4-8: These are four different weather models with their total snowfall predictions by Wednesday afternoon. The NAM and RPM show little to no snow, and the the GFS and EURO show generally less than 1". Remember, even if that happens, most of it will quickly melt. Best chances of any light accumulations will likely be in Indiana and northern Kentucky.
7DAY: Although we get a 2-day "chill spell" Wednesday and Thursday, we bounce back to the mid-upper 50s this weekend.
