This is a look at the jet stream (strong winds - like a river of air - high above the surface around 30.000 feet) for next Tuesday.  The jet stream often divides the cold air from the warm air masses.  Look  closely at our location.  We are on the south side of the jet, with a southwest flow aloft.  This set-up would keep us on the warm side, and keep our temperatures in the 70s!  This warmer jet stream orientation will begin this weekend and continue through next week!

Notice on the last map the division of the warm and cold air masses.
