Follow along as we time the rain, and possibly some snow on the way!  Below are 5 Futurecast maps.  Light showers arrive this evening and will continue off and on through the week, with the heaviest likely late Sunday.

1st Map: 5:00 am Friday,  with scattered showers and some heavy downpours possible.  Severe weather is not expected Friday or Saturday, but a few rumbles of thunder possible. It will be a soggy Friday morning commute.

2nd Map: 8:00 am Friday, notice how similar the forecast looks with the stalled out front, still soggy.

3rd Map: 3:00 pm Friday, well again not much has changed with scattered showers still over the area.  Many spots will pick up a 1/2" of rain by this time.

4th Map: 12:00 pm Saturday, here's some good news in the middle of the unsettled weather pattern.  Saturday does not look like a wash out, and notice we possibly have some large windows of dry time.  I think midday and into the afternoon Saturday will be the driest.

5th Map: 2:00 pm Monday, we jump ahead to show off the system moving out Monday, while cold air is rushing into Kentuckiana.  If the cold air catches up in time, we could have a brief changeover to light snow Monday afternoon.  No accumulation is expected at this time.

The last map shows the total 5 day rainfall, with 2-4" of rain possible tonight through Monday!

Again, late Sunday looks to be the wettest with the best chance of storms.  Stay tuned to the forecast for updates through the weekend!
