So here's the monster storm as of the writing of this update Thursday morning. You can see the heavy rain that's been pushing through the area, and the turnover to snow in Missouri - about 300 miles away. The change to snow will happen from around 6-8 pm this evening around Kentuckiana. Below is the snowfall accumulation map from our StormTeam RPM Futurecast weather model. It's been consistently showing around 1" or less of snowfall from Louisville - south. With 1-2" north of the Ohio River. But, keep in mind, much of this snow will be melting on contact, especially on the roads. I think most areas will pick up only a dusting to a 1/2", mainly on the deck or grassy surfaces, while the roads will be mainly wet or drying out due to gusty winds overnight. Either way, watch for some slick spot if you're out driving early Friday.
