A strong storm system is developing to our southwes and is set to hit us with a one, two punch...  The first round of storms will push through Kentuckiana with a warm front between 7am to 1pm.  These storms will be a little more widespread with the main threats being damaging winds, hail and heavy rain.  After a little break early afternoon another round of severe weather will develop.

The second round of storms (which I'm more concerned about) will move through the region with a very strong cold front between 3-7pm.  The map below gives you my current forecast timing (+/- 1hr.)  The main threats...  Tornadoes, Damaging Wind and Hail.

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has put us in a Moderate Risk for severe weather Friday.

SPC also has us at a 45% chance for Severe Weather...  Wednesday we were at 30% and those storms produced six Tornadoes.

The WHAS11 StormTeam will be here tracking the storms for you and your family!
