The StormTeam did some digging and for the first 75 days of the climatological spring season (March, April, May), we are averaging 61.5 degrees (averaging the highs and lows).
The previous warmest start to spring for the first 75 days was 58.1 degrees in 2007.
Our extended forecast calls for more well above average temperatures, so we'll have a good chance of ending up with this being the warmest spring on record.
With that said, we have yet to hit 90 degrees. Our hottest day so far was 89 degrees on May 2nd. The earliest we've ever hit 90 was on April 10th of last year. We normally hit our first 90 degree day in early June. We have no 90s in the forecast for at least the next 7 days.
