Below is the storm total rainfall since Tuesday, September 25th through this morning.  Notice the two fingers of heavier rain amounts from the Bardstown area up northwest through Meade and Dubois counties.  Then, another area of heavy rain from Henry County, Kentucky west through Louisville Metro, Clark County, Indana through Washington and Orange counties in Indiana - those areas have picked up 2-4" of rainfall this week.  Below is a table of the storm total amounts from the MSD rain gauges around the Louisville Metro area with 1-3" totals.  Louisville has officially had 1.63" of rainfall at Standiford Field. Finally, at the very bottom you'll see the 2-day rainfall total forecast from now until early Saturday, and the rainfall amounts will be dwindling.  Some of you might be happy to hear that the rain will be tapering off from north to south over the next 24 hours, with most areas only getting another 1/2" or less through early Friday.  Enjoy the beautiful weekend ahead!!
