Weekend Snow Chances
Our first chance for light snow arrives early Saturday morning with the system that is moving through Arkansas right now. I just checked their observations and they are reporting between .5 to 1" of snow. This system will move across southern KY and TN. Our southern counties should have the best chance of seeing accumulating snow.
Futurecast is showing light snow Saturday morning for most of us with the "heaviest" across our southern counties.
This is a fast moving system and will be out of here by 10 am
This is not going to be a big snow maker! Most of us will likely see between a trace to 1/2". Our southern KY counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory tomorrow morning and they could end up with a dusting to 1 1/2"
A cold front will drop into Indiana Sunday morning with some light snow with minor accumulation (under 1") north of the Ohio River. I also wouldn't be surprised to see a little rain mix in by midday.
