This latest spring snowfall has inspired me to tell you about some of our latest snowfalls on record - you may be suprised how late in the season we've seen snowflakes!
April's largest snowfall was 3.2" on the 6th, in 1917.
May has had one measurable snowfall, that was 1.00" on the 6th, in 1898.
The latest trace of snow was on May 20th, 1894 - could you imagine!
The latest freeze was on May 10th, 1966 (32 degrees)
The latest frost was on May 27th, 1961 (36 degrees)
