The National Weather Service office in Louisville has released the official spring numbers.  Louisville and the surrounding cities had, by far, the warmest spring (March, April, May) on record.  Data below from NWS Louisville...

"Warmest Spring on Record

A historically warm March across central Kentucky was followed by well-above-normal temperatures in May. Throw in temperatures that ran just slightly above average in April, and that's enough for the warmest spring on record. All four long-term climate sites in central Kentucky broke records, with Louisville and Bowling Green surpassing the old marks by 3 degrees! It's also worth noting that 3 of the last 6 springs rank among the warmest 10 springs.
