The record amount of 90+ days in a year is 81, which happened in 1954.  The least amount is 3 days in 1974.

So far, including today, we've had 29 days at or above 90.  We'll likely have 10 more before July is over, and we'll have many more days in the 90s through August and September.

I think we're on track with last year, which had 56 days at 90 or above.

While, we probably won't set the record this year, it's still well above the average (over the last 30 years) of 34.8 days at 90 or above.

We did nearly have a record amount of days at 100 or above with that last heat wave, but not quite.

Take it easy out there, we've got a lot more summer to go!
