Take a look at the heavy 2-3" rainfall amounts from Dubois and Perry counties in Indiana, through the Brandenburg, Bardstown, and Springfield areas in Kentucky.  Other areas picked up mainly less than 1".  Notice in the Futurecast maps below, a break this afternoon, before another round of storms possible tonight.

Notice the nice break in the rain and storms this afternoon and early evening.  However, this will give our area time to recharge the atmosphere for another round of storms later this evening and tonight.  Notice the next map at 10pm, showing that next round.  With the stationary front around the region, we can expect more rounds of showers and storms from time to time through Friday.
