April is always one our wildest weather months of the year, and it's going to be a little crazy over the next couple days. From a near record high of 84 yesterday to possible record cold highs and lows tomorrow and tomorrow night. (Record cold high Tuesday: 45 set in 1962, Wednesday morning record low 27, set in 1875)
Plan on occasional showers and windy conditions today. Wind Advisory until 3pm with gusts 30-40 mph. Map below.
Check out Futurecast as our rain showers turn to snow showers overnight as cold air races into Kentuckiana. The next map shows a dusting of snow possible, although most will melt on contact with above freezing ground and air temps.
Lastly, the Freeze Watch for Tuesday night through 11am Wednesday. Make sure you prepare to protect those flowers and plants for a hard freeze early Wednesday morning! Lows will drop down to the 20s.
We warm back up to near 70 by Thursday. Easter Weekend is looking pleasant with highs in the 60s and mainly dry conditions.
