The colder weather is conjuring up thoughts of snow. Typically, we see our first traces of snow on October 22nd. However, October 3rd, 1980 was our earliest trace of snow. The earliest measurable snowfall of 1.40" occurred on October 19th, 1989. We average only .10" of snow for the month of October. The largest October snowfall was 2.5" on October 30th, 1925.
