Kentuckiana woke up to the coldest air of the season this morning. The official low at the Louisville International Airport was 20 degrees, but most of the outlying areas saw temperatures in the teens. The coldest readings were observed in Corners, and at Taylorsville Lake, where temperatures dropped to 12 degrees! Brrr!
Thankfully, this cold air will be short-lived. Look for a gradual warm-up for the first half of the week, with highs reaching 50 on Monday, and perhaps into the 60s by Wednesday. Lows will recover into the 40s by Tuesday night.
