Let's get that bad news out there first.  Below is our very cold and somewhat snowy 7day forecast.  High temps will stay mainly at or below freezing (10-20 below average), with lows in the teens much of the time.  Light snow showers will be possible Saturday-Sunday, and next Tuesday-Wednesday.  Significant amounts are not expected at this time.

The last two maps are the total weekend accumulations.  Less than 1" is expected Saturday, and less than 1/2" expected Sunday.  Weekend totals will most likely be 1" or less.  Our weekend snow chances won't be major, but could be disruptive causing slick roads.

A couple more weak systems could bring similar light snows through the middle of next week.  I looked at the long range GFS outlook and it shows hope of a warm-up by February 20th - even showing 60s!  But, keep in mind the long range forecast is rarely accurate, but there's HOPE!
