Below, is the map of the locations of Tropical Storm Leslie and Hurricane Michael. Thankfully, both of those storms will be heading away from the United States.
Finally, the last map shows the frequency of tropical systems throughout the year. As you can see, today, September 10th is the peak of the hurricane season. So, it's not all that rare to have several storms churning out in the Atlantic this time of year.
