Another Chilly Start... Then a Warm-Up

Another Frost Advisory is in effect for much of Ketuckiana Wednesday 6-9 AM...  Areas to the south and east of the Metro will likely see some patchy frost.

Here's the Climatological frost and freeze statistics for Louisville...

  • 1st Frost (36o) - OCT 20
  • 1st Freeze (32o) - NOV 1
  • 1st Hard Freeze (28o) - NOV 12

A blocking upper level weather pattern is developing with a trough over the west and east coast, while we will be under a strong ridge of high pressure.  This will result in a warming trend that will last through the beginning of next week, with highs climbing into the 80s and no rain.
