Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Terrell Owens will descend on the Ville next week for the Kentucky Derby and several of the star studded parties held around town. Owens' trip to the River City is expected to start Thursday with an appearance at J-Dub's annual Bowl for the Roses charity event at Lucky Strike at 4th Street Live. That's just the tip of the iceberg for the man who put Sharpie on the map. He plans to make it a full weekend in Louisville.
On Friday he's teaming with former Louisville and current New York Jets safety Kerry Rhodes for the first ever Kentucky Derby Youth Football Camp. The camp takes place at the Trager Center on the UofL campus. It costs $100.00 and registration begins at 7:30a.m.
We've been hearing T.O. has skills on the basketball court and later on Friday he'll be able to back it up at the first annual Kentucky Derby Celebrity Basketball game. he's also hosting that event with Rhodes and Several NFL and NBA celebrities are scheduled to compete, along with And1 Mixtape Streetballer "Hot Sauce". Tip-off is set for 4:00 at the Spectrum Building on Brook St. Tickets range from $15.00-$50.00
Owens then will wrap up Derby weekend at The Grand Gala Saturday night at The Galt House. Hopefully he has a Sharpie in hand because his autograph will be in high demand.
