Agility. That was the word of the day at boot camp this morning. There were cones and hoops and ladders set up in the parking lot. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I thought it looked fun. Then the panting began. Drs. Christopher and Kara Mohr (with Mohr Results Adventure Boot Camp for Women -0check them out online!) told us to run through the stations until they said stop. It was all fun and games until i couldn't breathe. I want to say we went through the stations for like 30 minutes -0okay it wasn't that long it just felt that long. When would they say stop? Finally the words I waited to hear.
As we began our strength work towards the end someone yawned. Kara Mohr said "there's not yawning at boot camp!" I tried to quickly conceal my yawn. Then I looked around and everyone looked happy. Not tired. It wasn't even light outside and 60 women were smiling or at least looking pleasant after a pretty intense workout. There is something empowering about being up before most people and working out. You have to smile to yourself a little bit because it's just a reminder of how strong we really are. Go us!
I am doing better with my food log. I am eating much better. Okay, one more confession. My 4 month old decided he wanted to get up every hour and a half last night. One time when I was up with him in the middle of the night I took 3 bites out of a piece of pizza still sitting on the kitchen counter. My brother-in-law made it. It was just sitting there and I needed something to give me the strength to make one more bottle. That's not too terrible is it? At least I didn't eat the whole piece. Today I am starving. I have already had granola, eggs with veggies and turkey bacon and its only 9am. In honor of Brooke's blog entry from yesterday I am drinking a Diet Coke.
So smile today as you think of your accomplishments. We are all strong. If you haven't worked out today -0there is no time like the present. Eat good -0be happy -0and remember the best is yet to come.
