I love playing cards. I like to think of myself as a spades champion. I am not bad at rummy either. I am embarassed to say that my friends and I used to skip class in college to play spades to a thousand. It was not very often (wink, wink). Who knew that cards could actually be a good workout.
Just when I thought Drs. Christopher and Kara Mohr, of Mohr Results Boot Camp couldn't possibly come up with another unique workout -0they've done it again. Today we had a deck of cards and a list of exercises. The suit on the cards represented an exercise. Then you did that exercise as many times as the value of the card. We went through the whole deck. It was such fun. I was panting, but had a great time.
That is what makes working out with this group great. You walk in everyday and you never know what to expect. I think about going to the gym now and it just doesn't sound as fun. I've found variety is the key to sticking to your workouts. Same thing with food. Change it up and you'll feel better. Last night I made spinach and wheat pasta (not as bad for you as I thought) with a ground turkey tomato sauce.
Thanks for your help with the websites for counting calories. I will be sure to bookmark them on the computer. Now, I need your help with this next challenge. I think I have been dehydrated the past couple of days. I don't love water but I am trying to drink more of it. I am looking for some other drinks that are good for you and not too high in calories. Any suggestions?
PS -0I do have a confession. I just met a dear friend for lunch and I did eat my side of fries. They were so good. I will work extra hard at boot camp tomorrow coach! How many calories are in a side of fries?
