(WHAS11 Political Blog) -- Louisville's Congressman has the University of Louisville Cardinals going all the way in his NCAA Tournament bracket.

U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth released his picks to WHAS11 on Wednesday, showing two number one seeds in the Final Four, Louisville (Midwest Region) and Gonzaga (West Region).  Filling out his Final Four are Miami and Georgetown.

The four-term Democrat picks Miami to defeat the East Region's top seed, Indiana, in the Elite Eight and has Virgina Commonwealth defeating Kansas, the South Region's number one seed, in the Sweet 16.

Not swayed by any Bluegrass State allegiances, Yarmuth projects Western Kentucky University, the South Region's 16th seed, to lose to Kansas in the first round.

Yarmuth has two 12th seeded teams winning in the first round,  Oregon and and Ole Miss.
