Insight Cable's cn2 politics is back with another Senate poll that shows Republican Rand Paul widening his lead over Democrat Jack Conway.

While Paul's 40.6% is flat compared to the 41% support he garnered in the July 22 poll conducted for Insight by Braun Research Inc., Conway's support has dropped from 38% to 31.4%, hence the wider gap between the two. Yet, undecideds are up eight points in the new poll, from 19% to 27%.
Jesse Benton, Paul’s campaign manager, said he was pleased to see that Paul led Conway with a similar margin to other recent polls, including SurveyUSA, which was conducted last week for the Courier-Journal and WHAS.
“Every reputable poll has shown Dr. Paul and his message of balanced budgets and real spending reform is resonating across Kentucky,” he said.
The latest WHAS11/Courier-Journal Bluegrass Poll of the Senate race has Paul up by eight, yet unlike the Insight cn2 poll, the Bluegrass poll has very few undecideds.
