(WHAS11) - Republican Senate candidate Rand Paul says that his decision to accept campaign contributions from congressman who voted for the bank bailouts is not a reversal of an earlier pledge.
Instead, Paul says it is a sign that the Republican establishment has come around to his way of thinking.
During the primary against Trey Grayson, Paul pledged not to accept contributions from members of Congress who voted for bailouts.
Paul also answered questions about his views on the BP oil spill, why his personal finance disclosure shows a surge in income, and about Lt. Governor Dan Mongiardo not endorsing Democrat Jack Conway in the Senate race.
