UPDATED!  Here is the Survey USA poll

*********

According to the Washington Post's Chris Cillizza, a new poll out today will show Republican Mike Sodrel leading incumbent Democrat Baron Hill 49 percent to 41 percent in southern Indiana's 9th Congressional District.

For the fourth time in the past week, the liberal Firedoglake blog will release a poll showing a conservative Democratic member of Congress in serious trouble against his Republican opponent this November. The latest survey, set to go public this morning, will show former Rep. Mike Sodrel (R) leading Rep. Baron Hill (D) 49 percent to 41 percent in the southern Indiana 9th district.

Sodrel, who has faced Hill in four previous congressional elections, just entered the 2010 race last week.  No word yet on whether the other Republican contenders are included in the poll commissioned by the liberal blog Firedoglake, which is taking aim at "conservative" Democrats.

The National Republican Congressional Committee is reacting to the poll this morning:

"Selling out his fellow Hoosiers by being a reliable vote for the reckless Obama-Pelosi agenda has finally caught up with Baron Hill, who suddenly finds himself the underdog in his own race for re-election. This is what Baron Hill gets for trying to ram a government takeover of healthcare down the throats of southeastern Indiana voters. Baron Hill, your days as a public official are numbered.” – Tom Erickson, National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman
