(WHAS11 Political Blog) -- The Louisville Branch NAACP plans to announce its voter protection and get-out-the-vote plans for the remainder of the 2012 Election Cycle on Wednesday.
The Obama campaign has expressed concerns whether Voter ID laws in some states aimed at curbing identity theft and voter fraud may also make it more difficult for some people, especially minorities, to vote.
Joining the NAACP at the news conference will be representatives of the Louisville Urban League, A. Phillip Randolph Institute, Louisville Chapter of Links, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, ministers, and other non-profit organizations.
