Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell will be returning to the United States on Monday following a trip to Afghanistan and Pakistan. During his visit, he met with U.S. troops, military officials and political leaders. McConnell was joined on the trip by Senators Lisa Murkowski, Roger Wicker, Mike Crapo, and Representative Mike Castle. The delegation returns to Washington, D.C. on Monday afternoon and will discuss their trip at a news conference in the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday.
