(WHAS11) -- The buzz surrounding the Romney/Ryan ticket has spread to Kentuckiana.
On Saturday, Mitt Romney announced that Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan would be his Vice Presidential running mate in the 2012 election.
Romney supporters in Kentuckiana say he got it right. For Democrats, it's a decision they say will work in their favor. But for both sides of the political spectrum, it's a surprising nomination.
