LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – Saying Rand Paul and his policies are at odds with Libertarian values, the Libertarian Party is now considering running a candidate in Kentucky's U.S. Senate race.
It's been a tough week for Paul, who’s trying to turn the page since last Wednesday's now infamous interview with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC.
WHAS11 Political Editor Joe Arnold has more on a key follow-up question he asked Paul.
Last week, Paul said he would have worked to modify the provision of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that prohibits racial discrimination by private businesses.
In Arnold’s interview with Paul, Arnold asked him to describe Rand Paul's America, if that provision had not been part of the Civil Rights Act.
