What a thrill to read the stories today about big wins for the Republican Party in the Virginia and New Jersey elections! These wins send a strong message about the direction of our country to liberals in Washington, D.C.:
This is not the change we wanted - bigger government, massive spending and record debt are not the answers to our problems.
It is clear that voters want checks and balances on the agenda offered by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, but we cannot stop with yesterday’s success. We must continue working together here in Kentucky to keep Jim Bunning’s Senate seat in conservative hands.
