Trey Grayson Accepts Series of Primary Debates
- Launches Internet Ad Campaign Promoting Jan. 14th Live Webcast -

Florence, Kentucky –

Secretary of State Trey Grayson announced today that he has accepted a series of candidate debates to be held before the May 18th Republican primary for U.S. Senate.

Additionally, Grayson announced that has launched an extensive Internet advertising campaign to promote house parties in 95 counties around the Commonwealth where interested voters will participate in an historic interactive, live video webcast moderated by a celebrity special guest host (to be announced later).  Viewers will listen to Grayson explain why he is running, his vision for Kentucky’s future and will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The web ads will be seen by Kentuckians on major national sites like Drudge Report, FoxNews.com and Townhall.com as well as select local newspaper and blog sites in Kentucky.  The ads can be viewed by clicking here.

Supporters can sign up on Grayson’s website at www.TreyGrayson.com to attend a house party or to watch this first-of-its-kind event for Kentucky from home online.

“The liberal majority in Washington believes we can borrow and spend our way out of any problem.  Clearly that is not working.  We need conservative leaders who will stand up against the status quo and fight for reforms to cut spending, reduce deficits, and get our country back on the right track.  In our live web chat and in upcoming debates I look forward to sharing my ideas, answering questions and earning the support of Kentuckians,” said Grayson.

Following are the candidate debates or forums in which Trey Grayson has agreed to participate.  Others could be added, including the televised KET debate, depending on the schedule.
