LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- During an appearance on CNN Sunday morning, Indiana Governor Mike Pence was asked if he'll consider a presidential bid in 2016.
Governor Pence? Would you rule it out?
Pence: I haven't spent one second thinking about any job other than the one I was hired to do.
Candy Crowley: So much quicker than that, yes or no. You are the self-described dark horse.
Pence: I'm focused on Indiana, Candy.
Analysts say it's more likely that Pence would consider a presidential run in 2020, if he gets re-elected to a second term as governor.
Pence was in Washington this weekend, along with Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear, for the National Governors Association winter meeting.
Both are had dinner Sunday with President Obama at the White House.
