HILL ACCEPTS DEBATE INVITATIONS
Seymour – Baron Hill accepted invitations from two universities that asked him to attend their debate today, a key step in ensuring that voters get multiple opportunities to hear the candidates opinions unfiltered. Hill accepted these requests in the hope that his action would encourage his competitors to do the same.
“Voters deserve a full and fair debate, and that is exactly what I want to give them,” Hill said. “Hopefully my opponents will do the same. I will spend this next month taking my message directly to the voters as I walk through the district, and I look forward to doing the same in the debates.”
Hill accepted debate offers from Vincennes University, Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. The Vincennes debate will take place in Jasper, while the IU debate will take place in Bloomington. Baron suggests that the respective staffs coordinate the dates, times and guidelines for the debates.
