After former First Lady Laura Bush spoke at the "Get Motivated" seminar at Freedom Hall on Tuesday, she made her way to the Glenview home of Irv and Cathy Bailey for a luncheon with local influential supporters of her husband.

Cathy Bailey is a prolific Republican fundraiser who served as U.S. Ambassador to Latvia under President George W. Bush.

Sources say the list of attendees included:

Mac and Eileen Brown
Jean Frazier
Dennis and Joyce Griffin
Ed Glasscock and wife Mary
Jim and Dot Patterson
Frmr RNC Chair Mike Duncan
Commissioner Richie Farmer and wife Becky
Frmr KY GOP National Committewoman Nelda Barton Collings
John and Donna Hall
Frmr KY GOP chair John McCarthy
Frmr Special Assistant to Pres Bush Scott Jennings
KY GOP National Committeewoman Gail Russell

Laura Bush told the crowd that Bailey would be part of her "women's initiative," part of the programming at the Bush Institute at SMU. The initiative will keep a focus on advancing women's rights across the globe, especially in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Burma and other places where women have been oppressed.

The former First Lady thanked the crowd for their support over the years.
