LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)- Today Lousville's mayor, Greg Fisher, signed a new plan for how residents would get aid in the event of an Anthrax attack.
Under the agreement postal letter carriers will deliver life-saving medications door-to-door.
The goal is to have the antibiotics distributed within two days.
Louisville is one of only two cities in the country participating in this program. The mayor says the plan is just a precaution and there is no immediate threat.
