The Louisville Astronomical Society will be studying the night sky on Saturday, January 23rd at 7:30 p.m. They plan to view star clusters, nebulas, and planets. On the 23rd, you are suppose to be able to see them with the naked eye but telescopes will be provided along with warm treats. They are asking you to dress appropriately for the weather. The society has an alternative date if there's clouds or rain. It will be held on January 30th. There's no fee but a donation is always welcomed. Pre-registration appreciated.
