The411 with Sherlene Shanklin:  If you like Rap and old school Hip-hop music, you need to know where it all started.  Some of the first in the genre of music will take the stage in Louisville, KY for a concert.  Sluggah Entertainment presents Louisville Fresh Fest.  The festival will feature artists like Naughty By Nature, Black Sheep, Chubb Rock, Monie Love, Dana Dane, Kwame and Special Ed. The concert will be held on the Belvedere, Sunday, August 4th.  The show will be hosted by former Yo! MTV Rap's host and Sirius/XM personality Ed Lover.  Louisville native and the official DJ for Slick Rick, DJ Kaos will be on the 1's & 2's throughout the event.  Did you know that Naughty By Nature have been in the business for 20 years?  They will celebrate by headlining the show and performing hits like "Hip-Hop Hooray!"

Advanced general admission tickets for the Louisville Fresh Fest is $25.  You can pick them up at Better Days West, Exclusive Wear, Full Court Fashions and Treasures in Jefferson Mall.  Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the show is from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  You must be 18 and over to enjoy this event.
