The411 Anthony Hamilton Concert Update 2-13-14: I spoke to Louisville Palace officials and this concert is SOLD OUT. General admission tickets are all gone. VIP had less than 20 tickets as of 12:00 noon on Wednesday. The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: Grammy Award winner Anthony Hamilton will be in concert the day after Valentine's Day at The Louisville Palace. Hamilton is no stranger to Kentucky many will remember him singing with Kentucky based and Grammy nominated Rap/Hip-hop group Nappy Roots. They collaborated on two big hits "Po' Folks" and "Sick and Tired". Currently, Hamilton has been nominated for a Grammy for the single "Best of Me", produced by Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds. Hamilton is up for Best R&B Song” and “Best R&B Performance”. He also has a new Christmas song, entitled "It's Christmas". You can hear it on the soundtrack of Tyler Perry's new movie "A Madea Christmas". He also has a song with Marsha Ambrosius on the holiday film "Best Man Holiday" entitled "As". Hamilton will be in Louisville on Saturday, February 15th at 8:00 p.m. Leela James will open Hamilton. Tickets start at $39.99 and you can purchase them at ticketmaster.com. They went on sale Monday.
