Men Building Men will host their 2nd Annual Man 2 Man Gala on Saturday, June 9th at 4:30 p.m. at the Downtown Marriott Louisville in the Grand Ballroom.  This year’s keynote speaker is University of Kentucky Men’s Head Basketball Coach John Calipari.

Fresh off his NCAA Championship win, a visit to Washington D.C. to meet President Barack Obama and Kentucky Derby events Calipari will talk about his team, the journey they experienced together to achieve their ultimate collegiate goal and the future of UK basketball.  Calipari will also talk about the young men who will be in the upcoming NBA draft.

The Man 2 Man Conference is designed to give young men opportunities to become better men, fathers, and leaders in their homes and the community.  That’s the message that Calipari is prepared to talk about with those in attendance at the gala.

The black tie dinner emceed by Comcast Sports anchor/reporter Kyle Draper is a fundraiser for the Calipari Family Foundation, and Men Building Men. The West Louisville Boys Girls Choir will perform during the program.

Former members of the University of Kentucky will be in attendance.  Derek Anderson, for UK star and entrepreneur and Winston Bennett, Mid-Continent University's Men's Basketball Head Coach has confirmed their attendance.

After being the guest speaker at the inaugural conference, David Tyree, Super Bowl 42 hero says he enjoyed himself so much last year that he has agreed to be apart of the conference this year.
