The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: There's a lineup update for the Midwest Festival. You can now add Ginuwine to Friday's show. He will replace Bootsy Collins. The Saturday lineup is growing. They are adding Kentucky's own KeKe Wyatt and Avant.
The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: It's been a busy month with concert announcements but when I got this one I had to stop and read it twice. It's the inaugural Midwest Festival. The two-day festival will feature the following artist at the KFC Yum Center: Charlie Wilson, Chaka Khan, Bootsy Collins, Lyfe Jennings, Toni Braxton, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Anthony Hamilton. Additional acts will be announced later.
The festival will be held on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7 at the KFC Yum! Center. The Midwest Music Festival is expected to become one of the nation’s most highly-anticipated two-day R&B music festivals, attracting guests from across the Midwest region. Tickets are $75 per night and they go on sale February 24th at the KFC Yum! Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
