The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: Sports fans turn their attention to Louisville, KY for the most exciting two minutes in horse racing.  Why is the first Saturday in May so popular?  The Filson Historical Society welcomes James C. Nicholaon, Ph.D, author of the Kentucky Derby: How the Run for the Roses Became America's Premier Sporting Event.  Nicholson will talk about the history, tradition, and pageantry of the sporting event.
The event is free and open to the public.  The event begins at noon today.  For more info call 502-635-5082.
