The411 with Sherlene Shanklin:  This week is the 20th Anniversary of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Conference which will be held in Louisville with a prominent list of ministers, speakers and gospel artists.  The conference begins tonight at the Galt House with music provided by Jonathan Butler at 6:30 p.m.

On Monday, I was standing in the lobby of WHAS11 and two men came to the door.  When they got closer, I said to myself "Is that Paul Porter of the Christianaires?"  I remember being his stage manager and talent coordinator for Gospel Superfest.  He walked up and introduced himself.  I told Porter "I know who you are and that I was a fan".  He was at the station doing an interview on our Noon Show.  Once he told me why he was in Louisville, I had to pass the word along to others who might not know that the conference was in town.

Here's some of the highlights for the conference.  When you attend on Wednesday you will hear  Bishop Clarence McClendon, Tonya Baker and Kevin LeVar.  Also, on Wednesday it's the McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour featuring Smokie Norful, John P. Kee, Lecrae and Vickie Winans. On Thursday, its Canton Jones, Bishop Paul Morton Sr., The Williams Singers, Lisa Page Brooks and Bryon Cage.  Friday is the closing night for the conference and they have a day packed with events from Kurt Carr, Pastor Jacquie Upshaw, Dr. Jamal Bryant to the ONE Sound Live Recording.

The conference will be held in two locations: Galt House and the KY Intl Convention Center.  To get the itinerary visit their website www.fullgospelconference.org.
