The411:  In 1989, two young brothers were discovered in their housing project's community center in Georgia.  The older child broke into the kitchen to feed himself and his brother.  In response, Georgia created the Kids Cafe.  In 1993 Louisville opened their first Kids Cafe.  Today, there's a total of 13 in our area.  This Wednesday, you can support Dare to Care by supporting their 24th Annual Taste of Derby Festival.  The proceeds benefit the food bank.  The event will be held at Louisville Slugger Field.  Patrons walk around and sample dishes from restaurants from all over the area.  Hundreds of people show up for this great event for a great cause.  Tickets are $75 each and you can purchase them by calling 966-3821.  For additional information go to www.daretocare.org.  If you have an event and/or story idea send it to The411@whas11.com
